Which Fire Rating Do You Need?
Fire rating specifies how long a door assembly can resist fire without structural failure, flame passage, or excessive heat transmission. NBC 2016 mandates specific ratings for each building use type.

Every Component Tested. Every Install Certified.
Fire doors are life safety equipment. Our engineering choices reflect that — no cost cutting on hardware, no uncertified substitutions, no shortcuts on installation.
Tested Fire Ratings — Not Self-Declared
Every fire rating we quote is backed by a third-party test certificate from a NABL-accredited laboratory (CBRI Roorkee, CPRI, or equivalent). We provide the actual test report — not a datasheet claim. Copies available on request before order placement.
EN 1125 Panic Bar — Certified Egress
Emergency exit doors carry CE-marked EN 1125 panic bars — the European standard for single-action emergency egress. Push bar activates in one motion, regardless of direction. Latchbolt retracts fully with minimal 150N force. Fire exit signage included.
Four-Sided Smoke Sealing — EN 1634 Compliant
Smoke is responsible for 70%+ of fire deaths. Our intumescent strip expands at 150°C to seal the gap between door and frame. Supplemented by brush seal on the hinge side for positive pressure resistance. Full perimeter coverage — no gaps.
EN 1154 Self-Closing — No Manual Propping
All fire doors are fitted with EN 1154-certified hydraulic overhead closers. Door closes and latches from any open position above 5°. Adjustable closing force (Sizes 2–7). Hold-open electromagnet available — releases on fire alarm activation.
Acoustic Performance — Up to 42 Rw dB
Our soundproof fire door variant combines fire resistance with acoustic attenuation up to 42 Rw dB — sufficient for cinema walls, recording studios, hospital operating theatres, and server room environments. Fire and acoustic rated in a single assembly.
Steel Sub-Frame with Fire-Rated Grout
Our installation method uses a fully welded steel sub-frame anchored with M12 anchor bolts at 300mm centres. Frame cavity is filled with fire-rated intumescent grout. This prevents fire from bypassing the door through the frame-wall junction — a common failure mode.
Where Fire Rated Doors Are Mandatory
NBC 2016 and insurance requirements mandate fire rated doors in specific locations within buildings. Our engineers can advise on the correct rating and specification for each location in your facility.
120-minute rated doors with intumescent seals. Essential for FM Global insurance compliance. Integration with suppression system and door hold-opens standard.
90-minute corridor doors with hospital-grade hardware. Hold-open electromagnets release on fire alarm. Smooth operation for gurney and wheelchair passage.
180-minute rated doors for hazardous material storage, solvent rooms, and chemical process areas. GI or SS304 finish for chemical resistance.
90-minute rated stairwell, plant room, and kitchen doors. Concealed closer for aesthetic finish. Master key compatible cylinder for hotel management.
60–90-minute fire exit doors at every stairwell and service corridor. EN 1125 panic bars mandatory for escape routes. Exit signage and emergency lighting integration.
DGCA-compliant fire doors for fuel handling areas, electrical rooms, and cargo bays. SS304 hardware for coastal corrosion resistance.
120-minute fire separation doors between storage compartments for bonded warehouses, flammable goods stores, and cross-docking facilities.
180-minute fire rated doors for transformer bays, cable galleries, and switchgear rooms. Meets IEC 60079 requirements for electrical hazardous area classification.
