Under NBC 2016 and fire NOC requirements, fire rated doors must be tested and certified per IS 3614 / EN 1634. Non-certified doors will fail fire department inspections. All Yadav fire doors carry third-party test certificates from CBRI / NABL-accredited labs.

Emergency exit doors carry CE-marked EN 1125 panic bars — the European standard for single-action emergency egress. Push bar activates in one motion, regardless of direction. Latchbolt retracts fully with minimal 150N force. Fire exit signage included.
Smoke is responsible for 70%+ of fire deaths. Our intumescent strip expands at 150°C to seal the gap between door and frame. Supplemented by brush seal on the hinge side for positive pressure resistance. Full perimeter coverage — no gaps.
All fire doors are fitted with EN 1154-certified hydraulic overhead closers. Door closes and latches from any open position above 5°. Adjustable closing force (Sizes 2–7). Hold-open electromagnet available — releases on fire alarm activation.
Our soundproof fire door variant combines fire resistance with acoustic attenuation up to 42 Rw dB — sufficient for cinema walls, recording studios, hospital operating theatres, and server room environments. Fire and acoustic rated in a single assembly.
Our installation method uses a fully welded steel sub-frame anchored with M12 anchor bolts at 300mm centres. Frame cavity is filled with fire-rated intumescent grout. This prevents fire from bypassing the door through the frame-wall junction — a common failure mode.

Understanding the fire door assembly helps ensure correct specification and installation. Each component must be from the tested and certified assembly — substituting uncertified components invalidates the fire rating.
CE-marked hydraulic overhead closer. Ensures door closes and latches from any open angle. Size 3–5 standard; adjustable closing speed and latching action.
2mm pressed steel frame with fully welded mitre joints. Anchored to wall structure with M12 bolts at 300mm centres. Frame cavity filled with intumescent fire-rated grout.
Three CE-marked stainless steel hinges per leaf. Butt hinge with ball-bearing pivot. Must remain part of the tested assembly — uncertified replacement invalidates the rating.
Touch bar or full-width push bar with single-action release. Opens with 150N max force. Anti-panic feature: bar cannot be locked from inside when occupied.
Sandwich construction: 24-gauge GI outer skins with Rockwool (60/90/120 min) or calcium silicate board (180 min) core. Overall thickness 45–60mm.
